My sewing experiences started when I was just a child growing up in the 70’s. Since I was always too tall to fit the clothes that came in my sizes, my mother helped me get creative by adding lace to the bottom edge of my pants or adding a stripe to the thigh of my jeans, all that fit in with the era.
I went on later to create my own business clothes and evening wear. Quilting became a way of life well over 20 years ago, and the ideas have never stopped. Services I currently have available are as follows:
- Basting - For the hand quilter, rows every 4 to 6 inches apart.
- Edge To Edge - It consists of continuous quilting that goes from edge to edge with no border treatments, following a repeating pattern. Also called a pantograph.
- Edge To Edge with border treatment - an edge to edge design in the middle of the quilt with one or more border treatments.
- Custom - This includes individualized designs made to enhance your quilt appearance such as outlining, feathers, stippling and select designs in blocks.
- Freestyle Designs - Designs I have created to use instead of following a pattern. This is my customers most popular choice.
- Thread - I use thread that matches top or your choice of color.
